Among us (Sea expedition)

In this activity, we were given an among us game tempalate. We can use it to ask questions about our chosen sea creatures. I picked sea pigs because they’re interesting. I found out that most people will never ever see a sea pig in their lifetime because they lived in the deepest parts of the oceans. They are also scavengers. Instead of swimming, they walk around.

A new ocean spieces

In this activity, we create a new ocean creature. Mine is a mixed breed of a dumbo octopus, an angler fish and a jelly fish. I call my creature a Lophiphothis. I combined their scientific names. My creature will be a herbivores. It feeds on algae with their tenticles. Their lightbuld is used for their survival in the deep dark water.

Narwhals

In this activity, we made a poster about narwhals. Narwhals are also known as the unicorns of the sea due to their long tusk that protrude from their heads. I enjoy this activity as I got to know a new animal and learn some informations about it.

Mask craft

In this activity, we made a sea themed mask. My mask is an owl based on sea creatures. I planned to make a fish owl but the animal got its name based on its diet. Instead of making a normal looking owl, I made one based on sea creatures with multiple fish on its face. I made starfish as the eyes.

Easy origami fish (SLJ)

In this activity, we made a origami fish and decorate it however we want. I found this activity fun as I got to do art. In the Middle Ages, samurai gave origami as gifts, symbolizing good luck. My favorite part about this task was decorating the fish after. Because I got to do anything I want for my fish.

Wanted fish (Stonefish)

For this activity, we made a poster of a stonefish. This is a wanted poster and it’s made to alarm other people about stonefish and not to approach it.

Three facts I’ve learned about stonefish:
1. They are the most venemous fish in the world.
2. They can survive up to 24 hours out of water.
3. Stonefish can live between 5 and 10 years.
